  Existen actualmente en Sudamérica dos procesos que nos remiten a banderas importante del movimiento feminista y de mujeres. Nos referimos, por un lado, al proceso constituyente en Chile, y, por el otro, al proyecto de ley para el aborto gratuito y voluntario en Argentina. La constituyente chilena será la primera constituyente del mundo que tendrá una paridad de género total, y el proyecto de ley en Argentina responde al compromiso expresado por Alberto Fernandez durante su campaña presidencial de remitir al legislativo una iniciativa que recogiese las demandas del movimiento por el aborto libre, gratuito y seguro. Currently, in South America,  two important topics of the feminist and women's movement agenda are being debated. On the one hand, the issue of gender parity in Chile, and, on the other,the bill for free, safe and voluntary abortion in Argentina. The Chilean Constituent Assembly will be the first in the world to have total gender parity, and the bill in Argentina is part of Alberto Fernandez commitment to submit to the legislatur e a bill that would include the demands of the movement for voluntary, free and safe abortion. In the month of December, Mexico, Nicaragua and Paraguay celebrate the day of Virgin Mary. The best known is the mythical Virgin of Guadalupe from Mexico. On December 12th , millions of promeseros go to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe to thank her for her good deeds  and charity or to promise her new beginnings. This custom is repeated with variations in Colombia in the case of Nuestra Señora del Rosario, in Chile with Nuestra Señora del Carmen.
